Another fake job lead – Geneve Credit and Lease Company

I don’t know about you, but I do not have time for this fakery.  Work (including recipe and product testing, yum), fitness, friends, family, dogs, and diy projects take enough time.   Idiot scammers still send this crap, so I’ll share it.

Why do I see scam all over this one? Well, three separate names between who sent it (two on the email alone and a third as HR Manager), multiple recipients on the email, and inflated base salary for starers. It seems there is a Geneve Credit and Lease Company, but not here in the US – and not exactly with that name.  If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Be safe, people!

  1. Thank you for spotting this! I got it too in my email. Like you I thought it was too good to be true and did some internet searching on this so called company my self!

  2. I read this myself. The first thing that got my attention was the other three recipients to this e-mail. Names such as muzammil_khan@morgan.com.pk, kelligros@yahoo.com and ann.weber@therapist.net. The second was of course the overblown start up base salary and consideration of associate degrees with 3 – 5 years of experience; get real I said so I did some research on this company and came across this informative site on this bogus job offer. Oh yes, the HR manager who sent this to me was Beau Rivas. Appreciate the information on this scam.

  3. I just got the same email, different people and lo and behold the HR Manager name is Brian
Cruz, company does not exist here in the US, some damn scammers out to get something, they either go to
Craigslist or Career Builder, where you have your resume posted, I thought these places weed out these knuckleheads.
